St. Laurence O’Toole’s Junior Boys’ School is small friendly docklands school situated in the centre of the Dublin Dockland’s area. The school, attached to the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, is close to the IFSC and the new train and Luas stations.



We take children into our school on their 4th birthday.



We are committed to the philosophy of Play as a Methodology and have a Structured Play Hour in each classroom to enhance language and improve confidence and social skills.



We also offer the services of a fully qualified PLAY THERAPIST to help children who are experiencing difficulties.


Our Class sizes are 15:1



We have a child centered curriculum.



A Specialized Literacy Programme.



Professional Music,Drama and P.E.teachers.



A fully fitted computer room with the latest multi media equipment .

We offer high-level Motivation Programmes in the form of Quality Circle Time.



We also have a Super Kids Programme where every effort is rewarded - Some children even get to go to Sunderland with a member of their family.



We offer an English Language Tutor for our Newcomer Children.



There are AFTER-SCHOOLS CLUBS in the area.



Parents are a very valued part of our School Community and we work as Partners in" Helping your Child to Learn" Courses. We also offer a very popular course on Parenting where parents help each other in problem-solving.
